Overview

For designers building out relaxed, coastal-farmhouse living rooms, Shae solves the challenge of finding a coffee-table alternative that is just as comfortable as it is practical. Its generous scale lets it anchor a seating group as a soft-edged stand-in for a coffee table, a footrest, or extra seating when a room fills up.The hand-woven, striped fabric top is layered with foam and fiber fill, so the cushion gives gently underfoot while still supporting a seated adult without collapsing flat.

The white-washed wood base is joined with dowelled construction and kiln-dried before finishing, which keeps the frame square and steady even as it absorbs daily bumps from feet, kids, or pets. Rated to hold up to 250 lbs, it is built to be leaned on, not just looked at.
